DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is located on SR147 about half a mile north of Macune
Baptist Church & Cemetery--7.7 miles south of the intersection of US96 and SR147
and 2.7 miles north of the intersection of SR147 and SR103.
There is a highway sign on SR147 at the cemetery, which is just off the road
up a very steep but short driveway. There are 71 marked graves, with three
being unidentfiable. (one broken, one missing, one eroded natural stone)

Note 2: Alexander M. McDonald. He served in the War of Northern Aggression: he enlisted in San Augustine March 30, 1862 in an Infantry company commanded by Capt. F.B. Dixon. The company was an organ
of Col. R. Waterhouse's Regiment, CSA. His enlistment was for 3 years "or the duration of the war". The company was stationed at Camp Waterhouse near Jefferson, TX.
